034 Matariki Wearable Arts 2011
  • Kia ora!

We are delighted to announce that the second wearable arts show will be held at Puketeraki Marae on the 8th and 9th of July 2011. This is to follow on from the very successful show that we had in 2009. There are two nights set aside to celebrate Matariki (Maori New Year) with a display of wearable art shown in the atmospheric marae with funky music and lighting. We can provide the venue and the atmosphere, but we need your help to make a show by entering. Therefore all you arty and creative people out there, please get busy making or assembling an outfit. The categories are: Papatuanuku / Mother Earth Takaroa (Tangaroa) / Guardian of the Sea Rakinui (Ranganui) / Sky Father Entry forms and further information are available from www. puketeraki.co.nz. You can also download an entry form below.
